KING DAVID; The Second King of Israel.

King David was the second king of Israel to establish a Jewish dynasty. His reign is often considered the “Golden Age” because all the tribes were united under his rule. He was of poor origin (a shepherd boy) and killed Goliath with nothing but a slingshot and a stone. According to the Hebrew Scriptures, he has been protected from harm by God himself ever since he was anointed by Samuel.

There are many references to David in Jerusalem today, including the Tower of David, the Tomb of King David, and the 3,000-year-old Underground City of David.
